Leidse Hout

Autumn… probably my favourite season to go out and explore some lovely nature spots in Holland! During the last couple of weeks, I visited three forests. One of them was het Leidse Hout, a small forest I used to visit quite often when I was in high school. We usually played football in a big open field, or would go for a run. Re-visiting the forest after many years definitely brought back some memories.  It’s a great place for a short stroll and what I especially love about this place are the deers & tea house…

Capturing the autumn colors here was a blast. I loved the fact that some trees were still super green, whereas others showed off their golden brown leaves in full glory. The combination of both give the pictures an interesting touch!

“I can smell autumn dancing in the breeze. The sweet chill of pumpkin        & crisp sunburnt leaves”

Lots of love,

Manisha
