• Although Vienna is famous for its insanely beautiful palaces, opera & other top notch sights, the city has got much more to offer. One of the areas we visited during a late afternoon was situated at the Donau kanal. I was super surprised to find out this area was something else. Many young people were chilling alongside the river all day, I spotted lots of street-art, beach bars including artificial sand + comfy chairs and even vegetable gardens. The atmosphere? Incredible, I got instant Summer feelings on a regular Spring day in April 😌 • | Donau kanal, Vienna

• When in Vienna... ☺️🍰 // One of the famous pastries I really wanted to try here was sachertorte, basically a chocolate cake with a tin layer of apricot jam, coated in dark chocolate. My sis brought us to Gerstner, a fancy shop/restaurant were you can try lots of incredible treats. I ordered the ‘Sisi torte’, a variation on the traditional recipe 💓 What’s your favourite Austrian pastry? :) • | Vienna, Austria

• Vienna is... all about Mozart! 🎼 // Men with funny wigs & red costumes promoting classical concerts, famous chocolate-marzipan “kugels” with the head of the man himself on it selling like crazy & several spots in the city named after him... it’s almost impossible to ignore the fact that Mozart was a special and influential citizen. He moved to Vienna in his late twenties, got married and also passed away here. It was a pleasure to catch some glimpses of his impressive legacy 😊🙌🏾 • | Vienna, Austria
