The reasons why I love shooting early…
On one Sunday morning, I woke up to a very mystic looking scenery. Living closeby a lake definitely has its perks. Once I spot something extraordinary, I only need to grab my camera, go outside, walk a few meters and start shooting. That day, I couldn’t let these mesmerizing misty scenes slip…
Why I love shooting early is simple: the light is more gentle, there is less distraction (of people) and you can spot certain things you wouldn’t see otherwise. After 15 minutes observing and admiring the scene in silence, and thinking I’d seen it all, a duck suddenly flew towards my direction. I happened to have the right camera settings, so I was able to capture this 2 seconds event. Hooray!
